Stockland has again been recognised for innovation and excellence by the Property Council of Australia, with its Triniti Business Park winning the BlueScope Buildings Award for Business Industrial Parks at an award ceremony in Sydney.
Stockland CEO Commercial Property, John Schroder, said the company was pleased to receive recognition for its commitment to world-class office park design and development. -œTriniti Business Park was designed to create a business community that offers an environment which promotes dynamic business and social interaction, flexibility, freedom and choice. -œThis was recognised by blue chip tenants with the campus achieving 100 percent pre-commitment prior to Practical Completion. -œTriniti embodies many sustainable principles, including the provision of a healthy workplace for its occupants, improved environmental performance, reduced operational costs and strong tenant relationships created when designing workplaces specific to their own needs.- Buildings T1 and T2 achieved a 5 star Green Star As Built v2 rating, which signifies Australian Excellence in environmentally sustainable design and/or construction. This was the first Green Star As Built rating for the Macquarie Park region. This is the second time Stockland has won this award in three years with the Optus Centre in Macquarie Park receiving it in 2008. Stockland continues to have good leasing success in the area with the 8,000 square metre Schneider Electric 10 year lease at 78 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park, due to commence shortly in July 2010. Triniti is a 28,000 square metre A-grade office campus which integrates three high quality buildings in a shared environment of highly appealing landscaped outdoor public space. It includes an on site café, childcare centre, as well as basement car park for 995 cars, bicycle racks and shower and change room facilities.
